Welcome to the Denver Christian Schools
High School Campus!
Welcome to Denver Christian High School, a co-educational, college-preparatory, Christian school. Our 9-12 high school campus is fed by our two K-8 campuses plus new students joining the DCS family. Currently serving just over 250 students, our high school offers a teacher/student ratio of 1/15. This allows our staff to personally convey to the students a sense of warmth and genuine care for each student's individual development and needs.
Our high school campus is located near Broadway and Evans Avenue in South Denver, providing our students, staff and families with a conveniently located campus near the heart of downtown Denver and a short drive from the surrounding suburban areas. Our facilities include comfortable classrooms for 9 through 12th grade, a biology and chemistry lab, a cafeteria, a media center, a state-of-the-art computer lab, two gyms and access to track and sports field that services our students and community.
Our curriculum integrates educational excellence with Biblical perspective to equip our students to bring Christ's transforming power and love into all areas of our broken world. When you visit our campus, you will also meet a dedicated staff that gives our school that "small town school in a big city" and extended family feel that our parents enjoy so much.
We are extremely proud of the fact that 99% of our students obtain a DCS high school diploma, and that 94% of those students continue onto post-secondary studies. For a complete list of colleges, universities and institutions that have accepted DCHS Alumni, please click here.

Fine Arts
Denver Christian offers many opportunities for students to excel in the arts. We offer vocal and instrumental music classes with quarterly concerts, as well as art, drama, and creative writing course offerings. We also encourage students to submit works for judging for our annual art show as well as for our literary publication. Students are given opportunities to perform for the student body in fine arts assemblies every spring. Every other year we celebrate the arts K-12 with "Art in the Park" a festival evening focusing on the arts that includes hands-on creation stations, student performances, and art displays. Each year our drama department produces two dramas. Additionally, each year the entire high school attends a performance at the Denver Center Theatre Company.
Faculty
We attract and select enthusiastic people who exemplify the best in their professions and believe teaching at Denver Christian is a privilege that comes with high responsibility. Most importantly, our staff is committed to God's service and firmly believes that to educate our students, we must work together with the home, church, and school. 16 of 23 of our faculty members have earned a Masters Degree and over 50% of our teachers have 16 or more years of teaching experience.
