Denver Christian Schools

Denver Christian Schools provides an education with Christ at its foundation. Students educated from this perspective learn to think critically and wisely about the world, see how Biblical truth applies to all aspects of life, and practice integrating their faith and learning as they develop a worldview that prepares them for service in the Kingdom of God.

The curriculum is vitally important in the process described above. It is the vehicle by which this system of thought is conveyed to students. We carefully select, develop, and interpret subject areas which are basic to a thorough and comprehensive education. The divisions of our curricula are as follows:

• Religion: while our focus is on content, a challenge is provided to respond in faith and obedience to the Lord.
• Humanities: knowledge of man in history; through literature, language and the arts; and through the expressive arts of drawing, painting, sculpture and music.
• Science and Mathematics: knowledge of the world, its laws, God’s rule and our responsibility in caring for it.
• Basic Skills: in areas like health and physical education, students learn how to appropriately treat and use their bodies to glorify God and bring Him praise.
