Welcome to Denver Christian Schools
Welcome to our community of students, parents, and teachers dedicated to
- nurturing and celebrating your child’s interests and gifts. Your inspired child discovers unique and personal ways to see the world through the eyes of God.
- challenging your student to reach his or her potential—academically, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Your equipped child understands and applies God's truth, wherever it is found.
- preparing your son or daughter to transform this world for Christ. Your engaged child seeks to help this world become all that God intends it to be.

Van Dellen Celebrates Literacy
The children were excited, the parents were having fun themselves, and the Van Dellen faculty were busy doing what they do so well--inspiring and equipping Denver Christian students for lives of active involvement and service in this, God's world.

Congratulations and thank you to Karen Waanders, Media Center Specialist, and to the entire Van Dellen faculty and staff for their wonderful work in planning and implementing the recent Van Dellen Literacy Night. Thank you also to everyone who attended. With nine literacy stations at which children and parents jumped into tons of hands-on fun, a busy book fair, and lots of informal fellowship, the evening was rich with opportunities to explore the joys of reading and infused throughout with the warm sense of community that is inevitably created when students, parents, and the school partner effectively together in the important work of Christian education.
High School Students Attend International Worship Symposium
It's not every day that high school students get to attend an international convention focusing on an area of personal passion and interest! But for Kimi Bryson and Reannah Padilla, both juniors at DCHS, that opportunity became a reality this January as they attended the 25th annual Symposium on Christian Worship at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Together with their teacher, Wilma Wiersma, they joined 1800 attendees from 30 different countries for three days of learning -- and practice -- in the area of worship. They attended sessions such as Divine Play (ways to present Scripture through drama), Art as Prayer, and Drum Circle Worship. Bryson and Padilla are among the 18 students who participated at the high school this year in a pilot project for student-led worship, which involved leading chapels and taking a course called Worship Seminar.
