Boys Baseball and Basketball!

Athletics at Denver Christian is an essential co-curricular program that focuses on pursuing excellence within the framework of a Christian view of competition and success. The athletics motto is "To God be the Glory," and that motto drives every coach and athlete to do his/her best ... to bring glory to God.

At least 60% of our high school students participate in athletics ... and we encourage multi-sport athletes.

Denver Christian’s excellent athletic program begins in middle school, where students are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports, including volleyball, soccer, cross-country, basketball, and track and field.

High school students have the additional opportunity to participate and compete in the following sports:

Fall Sports  Winter Sports   Spring Sports
Boys Football  Boys Basketball  Boys Baseball
Girls Volleyball  Girls Basketball   Boys & Girls Track and Field
Boys Soccer  Girls Cheer  Girls Soccer
 Girls Cheer
 Boys & Girls Weightlifting
 Boys & Girls Golf
 Boys & Girls Cross Country

Denver Christian participates in the Mile High League at the 2A level for most sports. Home contests for volleyball and basketball are played in the Katte Gym (2135 Pearl Street, Denver); Home contests for football, soccer, and baseball are played at the DC athletic fields in Highlands Ranch (1733 E. Dad Clark Drive, Highlands Ranch).
Directions to the other Mile High League schools can be found at the following link: http://www.communitywalk.com/mile_high_league.

“Athletics at DC are the perfect balance between participation and competition ... giving students the opportunity to play and even learn a new sport at one end ... and winning state championships at the other.

Athletics - High School

Every student athlete must have an athletic physical before participating in the first practice. An athletic physical form can be found here.

To play a sport at DC, athletes are charged a sport fee per season to help off-set the expenses of high school athletics. Sport fees are set to encourage participation in multiple sports.

1st sport = $250
2nd sport = $200
3rd sport = $150

In addition, each sport has a list of items that the athlete will need to purchase (e.g. shoes, practice gear, etc.).
